After later Legends stories revealed that he survived, it was established that Durge had an intense hatred of Mandalorians, and that he had failed in an attempt to kill a young Boba Fett. He is eventually defeated when he swallows Obi-Wan Kenobi and explodes when the Jedi Master bursts out of him. He is nearly indestructible as he takes out Clone Troopers with ease while riding on a swoop bike and brandishing medieval-style weapons like a lance and a flail. Durge is comprised of tentacle-like tendrils that allow him to regenerate and alter his size. The episodes of Clone Wars featuring Durge are among the most memorable of the entire series.
